The Infantry Podcast

War has a way of changing all who face it. Most often the heavy burdens, emotionally, physically, and mentally, are not shared with the public.

Meet Noah Galloway, a Purple Heart Recipient who was a Sergeant with the 101st Airborne Division and suffered life-threatening injuries from an IED attack during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Go on the journey of a man, who at points, was left questioning his own humanity as well as the humanity of those surrounding him.  It's a very gritty, honest, and revealing insight into what real combat is and can become. Noah was able to find physical and mental wellness as he overcame traumatic depression to find solace in his passion for physical fitness.

Topics discussed in this podcast may be sensitive to some listeners. A heinous war crime outlined in the book, Black Hearts: One Platoon's Descent into Madness in Iraq's Triangle of Death, is discussed.

This is not an official DOD or Army product. While some guests may still be in uniform, their appearance on this show is in no way tied to their job. The intent of this podcast is to secure the living histories of these warriors.
